Im Getting A Male Brazilian

Oscar 2011 - Kings Speech

Every year I try all the Oscar nominated films (in the category "Best Film") to look at. This year it has become more difficult as have been nominated since 2011 is now 10 instead of 5 films.

Last week Monday, I had de opportunity to look at me King's Speech in the original and am convinced that Colin Firth for his portrayal of the stammering George VI. Oscar will get.

Content: The son of British King George V. It is one of Bertie's (Colin Firth) obligations, to speak publicly. For the cautious, prudent man a pain because, from his youth, he suffers from a severe stuttering. No doctor, no psychologist can help him, why is aimed Berties loving caring wife Elizabeth (Helena Bonham Carter) to the wacky speech therapist Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush). With his vigorous appearance and unconventional methods of treatment, he pushes his aristocratic patients first, before the head. But soon bear fruit.

After his father's death and the abdication of his brother Edward VIII (Guy Pearce) because of his love for the divorced Wallis Simpson Civil (Eve Best) is Bertie under the name George VI. 1936 unexpectedly to a new king of England. Public appearances and radio addresses can now handle even less than before, and not least the threat of war increased the pressure on the shy regents. The growing cooperation and friendship with Bertie Logue helps drastically. But shortly before the official coronation is an unexpected revelation of mutual trust and thus Bobbie's fight against the stuttering to the test.

With his (Tom Hooper) second feature film THE KING'S SPEECH he manages now a masterpiece, as you would in the cinema did not get to see every day. The verse in the. Festivals celebrated and based on true events story of an unusual friendship between two very different men it shines with elegant images as well as with ground dialogues, but especially with lots of humor and humanity.

I can recommend any movie in the original sound, because the German translation of much of the puns can be swept under the carpet. I give the movie perfect 10 out of 10.

PS: The film includes 3 Harry Potter actor - let's see whether you will discover all;)
