Since the Parents of my treasure known to live in Franconia, we visit the two from time to time a visit. So we were again this time for a week in beautiful Franconia. Due to water damage in the house of the parents we stayed this time in a nearby hotel.
From there we started our daily excursions. So it went on Sunday with the grandmother of my treasure in a local coffee to chill and relax. Despite huge rush on them in the cafe we enjoyed cake, coffee and ice the beautiful sunny weather. Nicely, I found the toilet signs which I then immediately had to take pictures. On Monday, a day trip to Treuchtlingen on the program with a detailed walk through the beautiful old town.
On Tuesday it was according to the daily plan a road trip to Dachau and Munich. In Dachau concentration camp memorial, we visited the course. The monument to the former concentration camp was established in 1965 on the initiative and the plans of the surviving prisoners, who together formed the Comité International de Dachau, built with support from the Bavarian State. In the years 1996-2003, a new exhibition on the history of the Dachau concentration camp with the theme "The Way of the prisoners was created.
then headed to Munich, where we We meet with a friend of my treasure and one of my friends, the Stefan. We spent the evening meal in a typical Bavarian restaurant with tasty too much. Late in the evening we went back over to the wonderfully illuminated by Allianz Arean Plein field where we were more than made it into the hotel beds.
Somehow it was not a lot of rest because we were the next day in Nuremberg on the way, as were my treasure meet there with some people. We also visited the craft center and enjoyed a delicious meal in the café leap into the air, which is located on the Pegnitz. In the evening we treated ourselves to some thinking in the sport very well done and very exciting movie "Inception" with Leo Dicaprio.
the rest of the week then we dealt with our holiday planning, as we knew nachwievor not where we wanted to spend our annual leave 2010th Thus, different objectives, such as Greece and England were on our vision plan. In the end it was then the Greek island of Kos, what we knew at that time but not yet;).
the end of our week we visited Thomas Franks Aunt Inge and her husband Peter Roth. We then learned their relatives know Lori and Kevin from America. Immediately we had a wire to each other and the addresses were exchanged. On 09.18.2010 the two marry in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. We wish both of them in this way all the best.
A visit to the local church festival, similar to a north German hype or Berlin festival, stood on our weekend program. Here we met up with Stefan and Felix and dog together and Sina was Kettenkarussel, Ferris wheel and bumper cars down and taken to strengthen the giant beer tent.
Sylke Otto's did. The Hackl Schorsch's doing. So we did it too. On Saturday we visited the summer toboggan run in Plein field together with the parents of my treasure. Thomas and I drove several times around 500m long toboggan run and enjoyed the beautiful Weather and the rapid descents. threw a couple in front of us, it even off the track - well, the brakes are not for nothing there;)
Good times pass away very quickly and so well known, always followed by a very tasty farewell dinner (Franconian Sauerbraten with dumplings). Mutti Gitti late Sunday afternoon, the homeward journey north.
